Spring is getting close, time to take it up another level!

Congratulations to everyone for making it through another Iowa winter!  Okay, it might not be completely done yet, but we’re getting very close!  This issue will hopefully help you take your fitness and health goals up another notch as we get closer to shorts weather. :-)

Monday is our Monthly Monday Madness, where you save 15% off our already great prices.  This is the day to stock up on whatever you need to as we welcome in spring!

Our current Bodysculpting class is halfway through, read on how they are progressing in only 4 1/2 weeks, as well as some of our other one-on-one clients.

One of our very popular lines is back in-stock!  Global Formulas, makers of the very popular Bio Cell, Bio Burn Bio Pro and Complete is coming in as we speak.  Lots of people have put pre-orders in, let us know if you want to get on the list!  Some has come in already and more is on the way.

Healthy High Protein Carrot Cake
3 cups oat flour or wheat bran     1 Tbsp SF/FF cheesecake or vanilla pudding mix
2 scoops vanilla protein                1-2 TBSP Splenda/Stevia/Naturally Sweet
1/4 cup skim milk                          1 tsp vanilla extract
8 egg whites                                  8 oz carrots shredded
Ground cinn/nutmeg to taste         1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries

1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl (mix dry ingredients first, then liquid).
2. Spray loaf pan w/cooking spray
3. Pour batter in pan
4. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
1/2 loaf: 23 gm protein, 35 gm carbs, 1 gm fat, 241 calories

Quick and easy (kind of) cardio
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is the best way to jack up your metabolism and burn off the bodyfat.  By spiking your heartrate at 100% intensity, then backing it off, you cause processes in the body that keeps muscle and loses bodyfat.  An easy and convenient way to do this is by jumping rope, intervaled with walking or jogging.  No excuses not being able to make it to the gym, do it in your basement or kitchen first thing in the morning or late in the evening to get or keep your metabolism going all day!

P.S. You know how everybody’s always talking about

“I’m not motivated.” Well, Jason – who is a very big supporter of our

has this attitude that “if you think you can’t, you can’t,” so don’t bother.
