One of more beneficial side effects, in our opinion, is how you can strategically use them to help with decreased muscle soreness. Now, this doesn&#8217;t mean that they&#8217;re not good for other things as well.  Studies have also shown that BCAA&#8217;s are involved with hypertrophy (growth) of the muscles and can provide significant protection against future muscle injuries.   New <img class="alignleft" src="http://assets.bodybuilding.com/store/prodimage/prod_26397/image_26397_450_white.jpg" alt="http://assets.bodybuilding.com/store/prodimage/prod_26397/image_26397_450_white.jpg" width="157" height="249" /> research has come out revealing that if meals spaced out 4-6 hours apart can keep your body in an anabolic state by sipping on/taking BCAA&#8217;s in between meals (but still take advantage of fat loss).   BCAA supplementation has grown in popularity in recent years by the use of both bodybuilders and athletes alike for the  benefit provided by these supplements.</div>

<p>Pause squats are a great exercise that will help you achieve this.  As <a title="Nutri-Sport trainers" href="http://nutrisportfpt.com/about" target="_blank">Ryan Irwin</a> demonstrates in the video below, by holding the bottom portion of the squat three seconds, it trains you to know and feel comfortable in the bottom portion of the exercise.</p>

<p>Raspberry ketones are not new.  In 2005 there was a study done showing that they reduce the amount of fat that is absorbed by the body and also demonstrated an increase in lipolysis (fat burning).</p>
<p>While these are both great effects, raspberry ketones can be even more effective by combining them with other proven fat loss aids such as green tea, caffeine for example.</p>

<p>In this video, <a title="Nutri-Sport trainers" href="http://nutrisportfpt.com/about" target="_blank">Ryan Irwin</a> demonstrates the impact this can make.  By recording footage of lifts or having an experienced trainer watch the attempt, one can go back and correct the breakdown in form.  In this case, losing back arch and forward lean causes a failed attempt.  The other take home lesson is don&#8217;t let missing a lift or an extra repetition mentally beat you.  Even if you don&#8217;t come back and get it that day, know that you WILL succeed and get it next time!</p>

<p>In the video below, Mike <a title="Contact us" href="http://nutrisportfpt.com/about" target="_blank">Beiter</a> demonstrates the pin press, a great exercise that helps people get through this spot by forcing one to come to a complete stop right off the chest, then generate power right out of the hole.</p>

<p>Key points on this is to maintain your normal form by keeping your arch and position throughout the exercise.  Make sure the bar comes to a complete stop and rests on the pins/rack prior to pressing (no bouncing).  Try this after your normal full range bench press as an accessory exercise on your next training session.</p>

<p>As <a title="Contact us" href="http://nutrisportfpt.com/about" target="_blank">Ryan Irwin</a> explains in the video below, carbohydrates after workouts are critical for glycogen replenishment (which refuels you for your next training session).  This not only helps with performance, but also enhances recovery.  In addition to carbs, a high-quality protein should be used post workout as well, which is better utilized when combined with a carb.</p>
