<p>In this video, Ryan Irwin demonstrates not only the deficit deadlift, but also some additions to make it even more effective in exploding off the floor.</p>

<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><strong>A.</strong>  Carbohydrates are important and your body&#8217;s preferred source of fuel.  They also can greatly impact muscle growth but also impact blood sugar and fat storage.  Key times to have carbs are around your training time.  Get plenty of veggies and try to make sure your carbs are a good source of fiber (brown carbs).</p>
